Carole GRAGEZ
Carole Gragez est titulaire d’un DEA dans le domaine de l’histoire de l’architecture et de la
communication organisationnelle (universités d’Aix-en-Provence et de Paris-Panthéon-Sorbonne). Elle
est également diplômée du premier et du second cycle (muséographie) de l’Ecole du Louvre et a reçu
le diplôme de conservateur de l’Institut national du Patrimoine.
Après avoir travaillé pour le département Architecture du Musée d’Orsay, elle a créé et dirigé de 1994
à 2000 un service du patrimoine pour le Conseil général de l’Allier avant de devenir responsable d’un
musée et d’un service d’archives municipales pour une ville de 60 000 habitants. Archiviste d’Etat, elle
prend en charge en 2005 le service des archives électroniques des Archives nationales site de
Fontainebleau. Elle développe alors une formation dédiée aux archivistes et s’intéresse à la création
de procédures de collecte des données électroniques. Depuis Juillet 2008, elle est responsable de
l’antenne Marine de Toulon du Service Historique de la Défense.
Carole Gragez holds a DEA post-graduate diploma in Architectural History and Organisational
Communication (from the Universities of Aix-en-Provence and Paris-Panthéon-Sorbonne). She also
holds graduate and post-graduate level diplomas in museography from the Ecole du Louvre and was
awarded the Curator diploma by the French National Heritage Institute (INP).
After working for the Architecture Department at the Musée d’Orsay, she established and managed a
heritage service for the Conseil Général of the Allier département between 1994 and 2000. She then
became responsible for a museum and municipal archives service for a town of 60,000 inhabitants.
As a State Archivist, she was appointed to run the electronic archives service of the National Archives
(Fontainbleau site) in 2005. She then began developing a training module aimed at archivists and has
taken a keen interest in the creation of procedures for collecting electronic data. Since July 2008 she
has been in charge of the of the Toulon Navy branch of the French Army Historical Service.
